Meet our VP of Product Engineering, Casandra Silva. Casandra is a software engineer turned product strategy leader.

What are you most passionate about in your career?

I am passionate about ensuring design requirements are met while maintaining user experience as the top priority. A company's success entirely depends on keeping team morale high, and a huge part of this is keeping teams happy with the software they use.

Where did you work prior to Prewitt Ridge?

I was most recently at McKinsey & Company, advising Fortune 100 clients undergoing data-driven digital transformations. I advised clients on software architecture, streamlined the user experience process, and produced enterprise-level iOS, Android, and responsive web applications available on Google Play and the App Store.

Prior to McKinsey, I was a Software Engineer at Q2ebanking where I successfully led the development of a financial tool released to over 10MM end users.

What is your current role?

I currently leads product development for Verve, Prewitt Ridge's Engineering Collaboration Environment.

What do you enjoy doing outside of product development & slinging code?

I can be found riding my bike around Austin, TX, or traveling to see live music across the world.
